The story began when our CEO Abbie Enock – as an experienced journalist and professional photographer back in the ’90s – started a photo and feature agency and realised she needed a way to ingest, tag, manage, market and sell the growing number of images it was attracting from contributors.

Abbie's solution was to learn to code, and write a pioneering platform that was launched on January 1st, 2000. Since then Capture has become known as a leading content management specialist and service provider to some of the world’s most famous brands.
Now – nearly twenty years later – Capture is an established, trusted partner in digital asset management technology and services, helping to elevate the value of digital content to museums, commercial image agencies, publishers, global brands, and rights owners.
